Q: What is Physical Therapy?
A: Physical Therapy is simple and effective. It involves the use of exercise and hands-on treatment to help people achieve pain relief and complete every day movements more easily. Physical Therapy can also include the use of ultrasound, moist heat, paraffin, electric stimulation and ice packs to speed up the healing process. These are rarely used in our clinic.
Q. What should I wear to physical therapy?
A. Comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in; such as gym attire. Flat, comfortable shoes or sneakers are recommended.
Q: How late are you open?
A: We are open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday & Friday 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Q: Do you accept my insurance?
A: We participate with most major insurance companies including Worker's Comp and Auto. Capital Blue Cross, Keystone, Highmark, Medicare, FEP Claims, Health America, Health Assurance, Aetna, Tricare, GBA (Railroad Medicare), CIGNA, PEBTF, Primesource, Devon Health Services, Department of Labor (OWCP). Q: How long do I have to come?
A: Everyone heals at different rates. On average, it takes someone 10 visits to be completely pain free and independent in a home exercise program to make sure the symptoms do not come back.
